Omo Valley, Historic route and Siemen Mt.Tour - 20 Nights/21 days

Day 01: Addis Ababa-Langano
Arrive Addis Ababa by ET and meet 4x4 vehicles and drive to Langano visiting the Abijata Shall NP with the hot springs.
Overnight stay, all meals included, at Langano Resort hotel

Day 02: Langano -Chencha-Arbaminch
Morning depart for Arbaminch visiting en-route the weekly Dorze tribe's market at Chencha.
Overnight stay, all meals included, at Arbaminch Swayness Hotel/Paradise Lodge.

Day 03: Arbaminch -Turmi
Drive to Turmi visiting on the way the Tsemay and Albore tribes' villages.
Stay two nights, all meals and camping gears included, at Turmi Camping Site

Day 04: Turmi
Attend the Hamer people's weekly market at Turmi and late afternoon visit some of the surrounding Hamer villages where you'll have a chance to witness the fascinating dancing ceremony.

Day 05:Turmi-Omorate- Murule
Drive to murule visiting en-route the Dasnech (Geleb) Tribe's daily market at Omorate.
Afternoon visit some of Karo's Villages.
Overnight stay, all meals and camping gears included, at Murulle Camping Site.

Day 06: Murule-Kangaten-Murule
Moring excursion to Kangaten to visit, crossing the Omo River by small ferry, the Bumi tribe and afternoon drive to game viewing
Overnight stay; all meals and camping gears included, at Murule Camping Site

Day 07: Murule-Key Afer- Mursi-Jinka
Morning drive in to the highlands of the Omo River and visit the Mursi Villages before proceeding to Jinka
Overnight stay, all meals included, at Jinka Resort Hotel.

Day 08: Jinka- Konso- Arbaminch
leave for Arbaminch visiting on way the Konso villages.
Overnight stay, all meals included, at Swayness Hotel/paradise Lodge.

Day 09: Arbaninch -Awasa
Moring take a motor boat journey over Lake Chamo, where you can observe a large number of hippos and crocodiles. Afternoon drive to Awasa
Overnight stay, all meals included, at Haile resort Hotel.

Day 10: Awasa- Addis Ababa
Morning visit the vibrant fish market on the shore of Lake Awasa and then proceed to Wondogenet to relax in the natural hot spring baths and swimming pool. After having lunch easy drive back to Addis
Overnight stay, with breakfast, at Addis Ababa Hotel.

Day 11: Addis Ababa - Bahir Dar
After having early breakfast around 0515 transfer to the airport for 0700 on ET flight to Bahir Dar and on arrival at 0800 you'll be taken to the  Hotel. Before noon visit the open and basket markets, the beginning of the Blue Nile River and the viewpoint by the late Emperor Palace. During the afternoon, depart by boat for the Zeghe Peninsula to visit Ura Kidane Mehret Monastery, known for its 14th century, round, grass-roofed church with magnificent wall murals.

Day 12: Bahir Dar - Blue Nile Falls - Gondar
You'll be taken on a morning excursion to the majestic Blue NIle Falls, situated about 30 km outside Bahir Dar, and afternoon drive to GOndar enjoying on the way the dramatic highland scenery and serene agricultural hamlet.
Stay two nights, with breakfast, at Goha Hotel

Day 13: Gondar
Full day sightseeing tour of Gondar town that includes the Imperial Enclosure that contains a dozen castles and fortress-like battlements built by various Emperors while Gondar was the capital of Ethiopia from the 17th till 19th century;  the Bathing Palace of Emperor Fasilidas where Timket (Ethiopian Epiphany) is celebrated every year on the 19th of Jan; the magnificent Debre Berhane Selassie church whose walls and ceiling are covered with vivid murals and finally the Felasha (Black Jews) Village though vacated by almost all of its Felasha occupants; it continues to make pottery in the Felasha.

Day 14: Gonday - Buit Ras - Sankaber
After an early breakfast drive (approx 3-4 hr) to the bustling town of Debark, and enter the Simien Mountain National Park. Now on foot you set off around the cliff face high on the plateau and glimpse the spectacular backrop of the Simien Mountains for the first time. You're likely to encounter troop of Gelada Baboons, endemic to Ethiopia. Overnight stay. all meals and camping gears included, at Sankaber Camping Site (3200 m) Walk approx: 4-5 hours

Day 15: Sankaber - Geech
Trek first descending into a valley known as Michotis, towards the stunning Jinbar Falls. Leaving the falls and crossing Jinbar River climb further upstream. The final stage of the day follows well walked path through cultivated terraces towards Geech village and your campsite nestled high above the village.
Overnight stay, all meals and camping gears included, at Geech Camping Site (3600) Walk approx: 6-7 hours

Day 16: Geech - Chenek
Set off on a steady climb across open moorland towards Mietgogo, a rock outcrop perched high above the canyons. The cliff drop away 1500m below, but the 360 degree views of the surrounding area are fabulous! Retracing your steps, head to Chenek crossing a number of valleys
Overnight stay, all meals and camping gears included at Chenek Camping Site (3600m) Walk approx: 8 hours

Day 17: Chenek - Axum
Drive to Axum through Limalimo and the great Tekeze valley.
Stay two nights, with breakfast, at Yeha Hotel that sets on hill overlooking the stele field and Tsion Mariam Church

Day 18: Axum
Morning excursion to Yeha to visit the country's most ancient temple, a remarkable huge stone structure and of a fine and richly endowed Ethiopian church of more modern times During the afternoon visit the Archaeological Museum that exhibits numerous antiquates historical relics and archaeological objects; stele fields where you see 200 years old mysterious monolithic stelae or obelisks, hewn from single pieces of solid granite and carved to resemble multi-story houses; ruins of the palace of Queen of sheba; Kaleb's Tomb and Tsion Mariam Church which is noted to the last resting place of the Ark of the Covenant.

Day 19: Axum - Lalibela
After having late morning breakfast transfer to the airport for 1300 on ET 139 flight to Lalibela and on arrival at 1420 you'll be taken to Roha Hotel. During the afternoon visit half of the eleven 12th century rock-churches.
Stay two nights, with breakfast, at Hotel

Day20: Lalibela
Morning trek or ride mule to Asheten Mariam to visit altitude church and enjoy the scenery and afternoon visit more of the rock churches in the town.

Day 21: Lalibela - Addis Ababa
Morning more sightseeing and around noon transfer to the airport for 1400 on ET flight back to Addis, arrive at 1540 and visit the National Museum as well as Mercato open market. Day-use room at the Hotel, evening festive dinner with folk dance at the Crown Hotel and this is the end of the tour
